Graduated from Medical School, University of Hong Kong, and awarded degrees of M.B, B.S. 

Specialist Training 
Five years of training at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. Attained  specialists designation: F.R.C.P.C. in Paediatrics, and  Diplomate, American Board of Allergy and Immunology - a conjoined board of Paediatrics and Internal Medicine. 

Research Fellowships 
Three years in the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Department of Immunology and Division of Clinical Allergy. Co-author of a textbook on Immunology: Cellular, Molecular & Clinical Aspects of Allergic Disorders, Plenum Press, 1979.  First author of various scientific papers.

Academic & Administrative Appointments 
Founder and first Director of the Just for Kids Clinic at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto. When launched in November 1992, it was the first walk-in clinic - outside the Hospital for Sick Children - to be staffed by pediatricians.
